Mabel Edith Watts Ray

Mabel Edith Watts Ray was born on June 23, 1894, in Davidson County, Tennessee. She had three daughters with Hubert Oscar Ray between 1916 and 1925. She died on July 12, 1998, in Dickson, Tennessee, at the age of 104. Mabel was my great grandmother. We called her Mommee. In tribute, I have named my cookbook site after her.  In her home, there was always something good to eat.   She ate cereal with half & half instead of milk.  Butter and cream were staples in her fridge.
